The DHT22 is the precision upgrade from the DHT11. With ±0.5°C temperature accuracy, a -40 to 80°C operating range, and 0–100% humidity coverage, it is the right sensor for outdoor installations, cold chain monitoring, server room alerts, and any application where the DHT11's ±2°C tolerance is not good enough.
