The TP4056 is a complete 1A lithium-ion/LiPo battery charger in a tiny module — with overcharge, over-discharge, and short-circuit protection built in. It accepts USB-C or Micro-USB input, making it compatible with any phone charger or power bank.
Li-ion cells are sensitive — overcharging causes swelling, over-discharging causes permanent damage. This module's onboard DW01A protection chip handles both automatically. Many cheap TP4056 modules sold elsewhere omit the protection circuit; ours includes it.
Portable ESP32/Arduino projects, solar-charged sensor nodes, custom power banks, wearable electronics. At ₹39, it is the most cost-effective way to add safe Li-ion charging to any DIY project.
