The MQ-135 detects CO2, ammonia, benzene, alcohol, and other air quality indicators. It is used in indoor air quality monitors, CO2-triggered ventilation systems, and smart classroom/office HVAC automation projects.
For accurate CO2 ppm readings, the MQ-135 needs 24-48 hours of initial burn-in and calibration against a known clean air baseline (400ppm CO2 outdoors). For relative air quality indication (good/moderate/poor), no calibration is needed. Combine with the OLED Display for a standalone indoor air quality monitor.
